Plans for Thursday

One thing Dave need not despair about is his looks. Dave is handsome and tall. One evening, he and his pals were getting bro-lic at a new Chicago hot spot when a bachelorette party bumped into his group. Before long, Dave was chatting it up with the bachelorette and wowing her with his looks, wit, and energy. As quickly as you can bat an eye, the bachelorette yanked one of her beautiful exotic girlfriends from their circle and pushed her into Dave. Being the gentleman, he made engaging conversation with the young lady before exchanging phone numbers. Before the night was over, they made plans to see each other again. She was hot and very bright; life was good!

After waiting the requiste time, Dave called her to firm up plans for later in the week.

On the day of their date, she told Dave she was prepping for a bone marrow donation and canceled.

Dave never heard from her again.

Dave, we feel your pain.

Guns and a Bat

During his senior year at ASU, Dave rented a house off campus with some friends.

Two weeks into the fall semester, Dave was hanging out with his roommates, enjoying the start of their sophomore year with some liquid refreshments.

The doorbell rang.

His friend Brant opened the door.

Four armed banditos came into the house. Three carried pistols, one wielded a baseball bat.

Dave’s wallet, car keys, cell phone, Play Station and DVD player, along with a little of his dignity and manhood, were stolen and never recovered.

There were no arrests.

Dave asks that if you see any banditos hanging around the 1200 block of North La Salle, that you not blindly allow them into the building.

Dave, we feel your pain.

Obama

Dave liked McCain.

Dave, we feel your pain.

Sun Sets on Dave's Devils

Dave's an Arizona State man, and winning is all that matters. Thus, he was thrilled at the hiring of Dennis Erickson.

After a strong 2007 season, Dave had his sights on a national championship, even if it meant living with the resulting corruption, hgh, petty larceny, steroid abuse and the assorted felony.

Miles, Tressel, Stoops -- like them, Dave was sure the Sun Devils would win the national championship in their coach's second season.

Unfortunately, no. In fact, ASU sucks worse than Arizona.

Ouch.

Dave, we feel your despair.

Dave's Graduation Present

Dave's mom had so little confidence that he could graduate from college, she promised an all-expenses trip to Europe -- plane, train, cash, etc. (he'd never been abroad, and this encouraged to not only graduate but to do so in just four years). Upon graduation, mom and dad pitched in for a $300 Tissot watch.

Almost like visiting Switzerland.

Now 26, Dave has still never been abroad.

Dave, we feel your pain.
